For the longest time when my daughter was a baby starting off on "real" foods, I was the smoothie queen. It seemed the only way I could get fruits, veggies and protein into her all at once.
Gotta say, I was shocked the first time I watched her devour a cup of granola - so this recipe was seemingly the next step! Super healthy, packed full of flavor and easy on the budget. Not to mention the little ones can help you make it so it can become a fun family activity, too!
Clearly there are multiple variations but to add some kick for the chocolate lovers, try adding a few chocolate chips, yum-o!
